Reviews and Ratings <br />
The Retreat offers a uniquely luxurious experience with exceptional amenities and stunning views. The staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel special throughout your stay. However, the experience was somewhat marred by long wait times for check-in and a disappointing private lagoon experience due to safety issues. Despite the high price, the spa and dining options are fantastic, making it a memorable stay overall.
The hotel at the Blue Lagoon was a breathtakingly unique experience, blending stunning natural beauty with luxurious accommodations. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and well-designed, making for a memorable stay. The dining experience at the upscale restaurant was exceptional, though it came at a premium price. Overall, while the costs are on the higher side, the value lies in the once-in-a-lifetime experience offered by the hotel, especially the amazing spa treatments.
The Retreat is an oasis of style and luxury, set in the picturesque landscape of Iceland. The rooms are stunning and provide an incredible view, making the dining and overall experience quite special. However, the dining options can feel limited, and while the service is mostly good, some moments felt lacking in warmth. Overall, it's a unique and relaxing place to unwind but has room for improvement in certain areas.
What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious. The room was spacious and came with a stunning view of the moss-covered lava fields, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Although it can be pricey, especially since meals aren't included, I found the overall experience to be worth every penny. The on-site spa and private lagoon areas added an extra touch of relaxation. Just a couple of minor issues to note were the dimly lit bathroom which made getting ready a bit tricky, and some technical difficulties with the music setup in our room.
I had an incredible stay at the resort with exceptional service and a tranquil atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, with lovely amenities, although they were not particularly large. The dining options were exquisite, particularly at Moss, though slightly on the pricier side. The location offered a unique experience, set apart from the public areas. Overall, it was worth every penny for a luxurious retreat, despite a few minor hiccups.
